Shea Jenkins is a junior at Rose and is new to Rampant Lines. She has expressed great interest in being either a Features or Entertainment/ Opinion staff writer to reveal a more assertive side of her personality. Due to her classmates' persuasion to explore what journalism was all about, she finally joined Rampant Lines this year. Jenkins excels in athletics at Rose and has played on the Varsity volleyball team her freshman and sophomore year and is currently playing in her junior season with hopes to help lead the team to a 3A State Final. She received an offensive player of the year award her sophomore year. She has played softball all of her life and continued to play as the pitcher for Rose her freshman and sophomore year, receiving the MVP and all conference awards. Outside of Rose, she also plays with a national travel club team in Greenville called East Carolina Junior Volleyball Club. Shea is also involved in Younglife, a group at Rose focused on leading other Rampants to Christ. Her family and close relationships mean the most to her and she is so excited to make those relationships in journalism while being an asset to Rampant Lines.
